Facebook - You can't have a business account and a personal account Apparently, according to the link above, you can't have a personal account and a business account... Facebook, unlike Myspace, is strict about restricting people to one account. I decided to write about this topic while attempting to create a business account for a client, however, because she has a personal account, that's what I have to work with. Now, at the link above on Facebook, if you read the first three questions they answer, you'll see that a personal account can also have other social pages added to it. Adding Social Pages to a Personal Account on Facebook For my client, that means she can attach "social pages" to her personal profile, and essentially accomplish the same thing that a seperate business profile would accomplish: a social page for her tanning salon business.
At the same time (according to the link above) she can restrict her "fans" of this social page from viewing her personal profile, if she so chooses.
